My husband and I are expecting a baby in just a few weeks. He has been trying to quit smoking for so long, but nothing works, because it isn’t the cravings that are the problem, but the enjoyment of sitting and having a cigarette. I don’t want my daughter to be effected by second-hand smoke, and my husband’s health is declining more and more from smoking. What are the health benefits, and is it an effective way to stop smoking completely?

Hi! A good friend of mine turned me on to Electronic Cigarettes. I no longer smoke regular cigarettes. I smoke these electronic cigarettes now. I have tried to quit before but I would get into some kind of crisis and grab some cigarettes… I smoked for forty years. It was embarrassing because I also sell health products and who would really trust my judgment in such matters if they found out I was a smoker.
Anyway eCigs are the answer to your prayers.. .they are not perfect but they are as close to cigarettes as you can get without the terrible health effects and the terrible smells. Your husband get choose the amount of nicotine he wants to use. He can choose a strong amount, a weak amount or no nicotine at all. There are also flavors, chocolate, menthol etc.
There are different methods offered by different companies. I found this company called “Green Smoke” I like their product. Long story short you will need 2 custom made batteries that look like cigarettes. You will need a recharger for those batteries. You will need cartridges that have the flavor and the nicotine and something called an atomizer so when you screw on the cartridge to the battery the smoke reaction can happen. I sell the ecigs at my website along with my other health products. There is a link there to complete information plus you can contact me at the contact page to ask me specific questions for things that you might not understand. The website is http://sleepersawaken.com … best of luck with the little baby and the big baby

i have one. They are a healthier alternative to smoking because there are no chemicals in the “smoke” which is just a harmless vapor. They have three parts consisting of a battery, an atomizer and a nicotine cartridge. The cartridge is the equivalent to a pack of cigarettes. It’s not a nicotine cessation product it’s used to replace real cigarettes, I actually cut down when i was using it

Yes it is a safe alternative, smoking is extremely addictive and the electronic cigarette soothes cravings without the tar and carcinogens.

They are not like the real thing, but they are close enough to be a substitute until your lungs heal. I commend your husband for trying to quit, i have seen many young children grow up in a house of smokers with respiratory problems.

It is nice to know that people actually care enough for the health of their child to quit something as individually satisfying as cigarettes.

Your husband will almost definitely quit normal cigarettes and turn any health problems he had around.

You want the disposable atomizer kit…
You can get it at http://www.electroniccigarettesinc.com

This is the best one to buy cause you get a new atomizer with every cartridge. You can definitely stop smoking completely with them… start with the high nicotine cartridges… move to medium… move to low… them move to non- They will still vapor but with no nicotine.

They taste awesome… no nasty smell and they will save your life.

That company above has the best prices anywhere as well.

e-cigs are available with or without nicotine. The vapor looks and tastes like smoke and the end glows when the user takes a puff. They are not approved by the FDA for nicotine replacement therapy, but many people substitute ecigs for the real thing. There are also other benefits, such as they don’t stain your teeth or burn holes in your car seats. You can order a starter kit for about $130 which comes with the device, an extra atomizer, and 8 cartridges (which equals about 8 packs of regular cigarettes). They are available in four levels of nicotine, and many flavors including menthol, cherry and chocolate.

The electronic cigarette has the nicotine your husband craves but doesn’t have all the harmful chemicals found in cigarette tobacco. That’s the major benefit. He will be inhaling a water vapor mist and not smoke. There is no secondhand smoke so it’s not harmful to others. There’s no fire hazard.

I use the electronic cigarette as an alternative to smoking. The nicotine cartridges come in high, medium, low, and no nicotine. So he could use a step-down method to help him quit.

The cost savings over cigarettes is substantial as well. You can visit the site below for more information. The electronic cigarette, nicotine cartridges and e-liquid are very reasonably priced too.

I actually use the Blackjack from 21 Century Smoking. Are they a safe alternative is a loaded question. Of course they are not safe, they still have nicotine and that obviously isn’t great for you!

However, are they safer than smoking a normal cigarette? Absolutely! There are about 4000 carcinogens in normal cigarettes, however, electronic cigarettes do not have these carcinogens. In fact, the ingredients in the 21 Century Smoking cigarettes have actually been considered to be generally safe for human consumption by the FDA.

The health benefits are avoiding the known carcinogens while still getting the nicotine. 21 Century actually has a money back guarantee, so you can try it out and see what he thinks.

And they actually offer cigarettes in different strengths, so in theory he can start with the High (16 mg) and attempt to work his way down to the no nicotine e-cigs. However, there has yet to be a study on the e-cigs effectiveness as a smoking cessation device.

I hope my long winded answer helped with your question! The electronic cigarette is definitely worth a shot!
